Synopsis:

Paresh ch dutta, a middle class bank clerk in Kolkata, attends a charity match in a rainy day rather neloctantly ?. At Curzon park where the match was to be apparently held, he funds a small round stone and gives it to his nephew. The child discovers that it turns metal into gold- it is parashpathar. Dutta buys the stone from the child with sweets after witnessing the stone's power himself. He decides to take a few old commanvalls ? from the city dump, turn them into gold and sell them. The scheme makes him rich, as a chauffeur drives him home from the dump, the car pulls into the driveway of a mansion (his new home). He now has a young secretary named Priyatosh henry biswas ? Who among other things, ? mentions that Dutt is unvited ? a cocktail party. At the party, Dutt acts slightly unnatural before engaging in drunken revelry. When another guest orders him to get out, the turn an tran ? frgive into gold (thus parlially neyallns? how he became succeful) it is not long before this encident a posted ?as a head line in the papers, causing a panic in bengal. Paresh dutta fles much his wife giribala leayers ? nearly every times with priyatosh but cavtioners him to hand it over if the police arrive. Soon me ?& mrs dutta are taken to a police station for inlerrogation and the police discover that the desparode priyatosh has swallowed the stone. Dr nandi a medical specialist inform the inspector that priyatosh is digesting the stone. Soon after Paresh and giribala dutt her of this, they notice the golden object turning back into iron.
