Synopsis:

New actress Urmila arrives at the preminar show of her first released film ' Amar deep'. The crowd is waiting for her. After the felicitation she thanks the audience for their love & support. And at the Press conference, her director Robi, rescues her by telling them that she has a shooting next morning, so please let her take rest. Tommorrow they will start for the shooting of their next release. Next morning, with the entire cast & crew, the train departs for their shooting location. Music & entertainment goes on, inside the train. The train stops in an unknown station. Urmita gets down from the train to watch the beauty outside. Suddenly the train starts, leaving the heroine alone in an unknown village. She shouts & chases, but can't make it. It is midnight & cloudy, with darkness everywhere. Roars of thunder & lightening of flashes. She gets worried, begins to walks & searches for a shelter. Finally, she finds a room, knocks on the door. The door is opened and a young, handsome gentleman welcomes her. The gentleman Aloke Roy is the station master of this small suburb and it is his one room flat of the railway-quarter. Urmila, hiding her own identity, apologies for the disturbance & ask for one night's shelter. Aloke receives the girl, gives her water & towels request her to stay inside in his room. she goes to the kitchen for a sleep, but very soon she runs away to the living cum cum bedroom due to the fear of cockroaches. Finally, Aloke makes a partition inside the room, she sleeps in the bed and Aloke on the floor. It is love at first sight for both of them, but they express nothing about that. Aloke guesses that she has escaped from her home. It is just the beginning of the problems. The very next morning she opens the outside door and finds Madhu with the bucket of milk. Madhu, a point man & servant of Aloke, misunderstands her as "Baudimoni' (wife of Aloke). He rushes to Mr. Lahiri's House to inform him about dadababu's marriage. Mr. Lahiri a rich timber merchant & a close family friend of Aloke, wakes up immediately and calls his wife Ratna, tells her about good news of Aloke's marriage. They decide to visit Aloke's quarter and give the girl a warm reception. Urmila wakes Aloke up, tells him that situation is getting more & more complex, she wants to leave the house, but he stops her. They jointly decide to face the situation. They face Lahiri Family, lie to them that they've married few months before. Urmila introduces herself as Gita, Aloke's newly married wife. She convinces them that Aloke was not eager to take her home, so she decides to come here uninformed. Mr. Lahiri, a very cheerful person, takes the new bride to his house & gift her sarees & a gift cheque. Aloke is like a younger brother to him, so Lahiri blesses the girl & tells her a lot of stories about Aloke. The Lahiri couple invite them for lunch. Aloke joins them after his duty hours. Within a few hours, Gita impresses them, sharing jokes and sings a song in request of Mr. Lahiri. Her beauty, appearance & songs with the piano make them her admirer-instantly. Even Aloke, in the lunch table, appreciates the items made by her own wife Gita. Lahiri couple request with heart & soul to stay with them in this small suburb called Mourigram. This middle aged couple get very lonely in this suburbs, and Gita, like her husband gets very familier with this couple. She agrees immediately to their proposal. Aloke has nothing to do, except following the girl - Urmila. Gradually they come closer to each other & infatuations turn their acting into reality. They begin to share the love, walk to the hilltops, visit the village fair, dedicate songs to each other, and of course - sharing the same room, together Urmila forgets everything about her previous life & the glamour world. She like a typical middle class wife, begins to prepare breakfasts & lunches for Alok. Suddenly she meets Atin, an old friend of Aloke & brother in law of Mr. Lahiri, and comes to know about the brillance & talents & popularities of Aloke during his college days. Atin tells them how all his friend has left everything of his well established family business due to a sentimental reasons & chose the job of an ordinary station master in unknown suburbs. Meanwhile, director Robi informed the police and administrations about the missing of their heroine. He is quite assured that she has been kidnapped, appointed a personal detective to find out their heroine. Otherwise it would be a huge loss for their ' Tiger Production House'. Finally, for Aloke & Urmila's colourful days comes to an end, In the morning news paper Aloke reads everything about the missing star. At the moment he writes a telegram to Robi in Calcutta & sends it to Rajarhat post office. The next morning Robi comes to his station office. Aloke, quite & calm , receives him, takes him in his quarter and sends him inside the house. Urmila (or Gita) after taking a bath, open the door and finds her director standing in front of her. Robi get surprised, he takes her to station where the photographers are already waiting for the star. The Nayika (Heroine) with full of tears, enters inside the train and the train departs. After a few minutes, she pulls the chain, gets down from the train and runs to her "husband's" arms. It is a photographer's delight - they start to take snaps of this new couple.
